enthusiasts.
Sunnmøre’s
rugged mountains and nature are just as spectacular under water as they
are above ground! Under the surface you will experience a marine world
of seaweed, colourful corals, canyons and small caves. Marine life is
abundant in the form of large shoals of fish and you can occasionally even bump
into a seal or a whale.
Year-round
ocean streams keep underwater visibility clear most of the time.
One of the
most visited shipwrecks is the Konsul Carl Fischer, which lies in the
Valderøyfjorden. However there are several more wrecks that you can dive
to.
The Gulf
Stream gives us mild winters and the sea never freezes. You can dive all
year round!
